I'm vegan and often get the question: What do you eat? Hopefully this blog can answer that.
My goal is to show that being vegan is possible and can be inexpensive. It can also be really expensive - just like any person's dietary preference/needs. I also really enjoy showcasing both chain and independent restaurants with vegan options as well as products that are vegan.

Pizza: Papa John's
Just a jazzed up piece of Papa John's pizza. I added a bunch of garlic sauce, some cumin, Parma!, and red pepper flakes. The toppings from PJ's were: Green Peppers and pineapple. Maybe onions as well, can't remember.
Nothing special, but still a nice treat.

wow, that's great that Papa John's is vegan-friendly - I never thought they would be!
yeah, they have a FAQ on their website. the regular crust is ok, but the thin crust has whey, I think. The regular red pizza sauce is vegan, too.
I just order whatever and ask for no cheese, extra sauce and everything works out great! The breadsticks are vegan, too (the plain ones) I also believe the garlic sauce is, but there is highly tense debates over that.
